Jose Lemos is Senior Product Delivery Manager at QuantumGate, where he oversees the end-to-end execution of secure product development programs. With nearly 15 years of experience in engineering and product delivery, he has contributed to the global launch of high-impact products across cybersecurity, consumer electronics, and communications technologies.

Before QuantumGate, Jose spent over five years at KATIM, where he led the delivery of ultra-secure communication solutions, most recently as Director of Engineering Program Management. He managed complex multi-disciplinary programs with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and compliance, delivering trusted technologies for high-assurance environments. His background also includes project management roles at Samsung and Motorola, where he guided cross-functional teams from concept through delivery on large-scale product launches.

Jose holds a bachelor’s in computer science from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) and an MBA from ESAMC.

Dr. Septimiu Fabian Mare is the Head of Engineering at QuantumGate and a Senior Director at the Cryptographic Research Center of the Technology Innovation Institute (TII), where he leads the Blockchain Solutions and Core Engineering teams. His expertise spans advanced cryptographic systems, secure system design, stenography, security software architecture, and firmware security.

Prior to joining TII and QuantumGate, Dr. Mare was a Principal Security Researcher at Xen1thLabs, which his part of DarkMatter, where he focused on designing hacker- resistant solutions by integrating offensive security insights with robust defensive architectures. His work combines theoretical depth with practical implementation, contributing to the resilience of secure communications and protocols.

Dr. Mare holds a PhD in Computer Software Engineering and an Engineer’s Degree from the Politehnica University of Timisoara. He is the author of multiple patents in the field of security and continues to drive innovation in cryptographic engineering to strengthen trust in digital systems.

Dr. Victor Mateu is the Acting Chief Researcher at the Cryptographic Research Center of the Technology Innovation Institute (TII). He leads the development of cryptographic solutions, with expertise in secure protocol design, embedded system security, electronic voting systems, zero-knowledge proofs, and post-quantum cryptography.

Dr. Mateu previously served as Principal Cryptography Researcher and Senior Director at TII. Before joining TII, he worked as a crypto developer at DarkMatter and as a researcher at Scylt Innovating Democracy, where he contributed to the design and analysis of cryptographic protocols for real-world elections.

He holds a PhD in Cryptography and Information Security and a Master’s in Computer Science from Universitat de Lleida, where he conducted research on cryptography and internet voting protocols. He has published extensively in the field.

Dr. Emanuele Bellini is Senior Director at the Cryptographic Research Center of the Technology Innovation Institute (TII), where he leads applied research in cryptoanalysis and secure system design. He is responsible for developing sovereign cryptographic libraries and leading migration efforts to quantum-resistant cryptographic systems in the UAE.

Previously, Dr. Bellini was the Lead Cryptographer at DarkMatter, focusing on cryptographic library development and post-quantum cryptographic schemes, while becoming a FIPS 140-2 CVP Certified Tester. He also worked as a cryptographer at Telsy S.p.A., contributing to advanced encryption systems and quantum-safe technologies.

He holds a Ph.D. in Coding Theory and Cryptography from the Università di Trento and a Masters’s in Mathematics from the Università degli Studi di Torino. He has authored over 40 publications in the field.

Abdalla AlMajali is a Senior Manager in the Venture Building team within VentureOne, where he led the incubation and launch of QuantumGate. He is focused on blockchain and cybersecurity and is responsible for delivering strategic value through early-stage operations and commercialization.

Abdalla brings a decade of experience in venture building, startup incubation and acceleration, and product commercialization. Prior to joining VentureOne, he was the Head of Advisory at Outlier Ventures, a leading Web3 startup accelerator. In his career, he also served as an Engagement Manager at Simon-Kucher & Partners, advising clients on revenue growth and profitability across EMEA.

Abdalla holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering with Business Finance from the University College London (UCL) and the London School of Economics (LSE).

Janne Hirvimies is the Chief Technology Officer at QuantumGate, bringing 20 years of extensive experience in secure communications, mobile security, and hardware- assisted security systems. As results-driven leader, Janne excels in creating and leading business initiatives, products, and technological advancements across diverse regions. His deep expertise includes hardware platforms, operating systems, secure communication solutions, security frameworks, applied cryptography, key management, DRM, and mobile payment solutions.

Throughout his career, Janne has managed the complete product lifecycle from design through manufacturing, ensuring a secure supply chain. He previously held senior leadership roles including Vice President of the Phones Business Unit at KATIM, Senior Security Architect at Huawei, Engineering Manager at Intel, and was a pioneer in mobile security at Nokia. He has a proven track record of successfully collaborating with major chipset suppliers and industry leaders.

Janne holds a Master of Science in Engineering (Electronics) from Tampere University of Technology and is the inventor on five patents in the field of security.

Virpi Juusola is Vice President of Product at QuantumGate, where she leads product strategy and development with a focus on cybersecurity innovation. She specializes in bringing complex products from concept to market, scaling them globally, and building cross-functional teams that deliver sustained commercial success.

Before joining QuantumGate, Virpi was Director of Product Management for IoT at Haltian, where she oversaw the development of connected solutions for enterprise clients. Prior to that, she served as Director of Product Management at KATIM, a secure communications company based in the UAE. Over the course of her 25-year career, she has held senior product roles across the B2G, B2B, and B2C sectors. including a tenure at Nokia, consistently driving innovation and customer-centric solutions in global markets. Her expertise spans product leadership, marketing, go-to-market strategy, business development, and financial management.

Virpi holds a Master of Science in Business Economics from the University of Oulu in Finland.

Sofia Grypari is Product Management Principal at QuantumGate, where she leads product and product marketing strategy for the company’s post-quantum cybersecurity portfolio. Her responsibilities include defining product positioning and pricing for local and international markets, leading customer validation for new features, and driving the development of next-generation UI/UX in collaboration with cross-functional teams. She plays a key role in aligning engineering, marketing and commercial teams to ensure QuantumGate’s offerings meet strategic and customer needs.

She joined QuantumGate at its founding, after contributing to the development of the same product portfolio at the Technology Innovation Institute (TII)’s Cryptography Research Center. Prior to joining TII, she was the co-founder and COO of 2bee2, a European digital platform for suppliers and resellers. In her career, she also worked for ADVEO, most recently as EU Purchasing & Category Director, and for Acer in various sales, commercial, product and marketing roles.

Sofia’s expertise spans across digital transformation, cybersecurity, consumer electronics and wholesale distribution, delivering customer-focused solutions. She holds an MBA from MIP Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Communication from Athens University of Economics and Business.

Falco Christow is a Senior Product Manager at QuantumGate, leading the product- market strategy for next-generation post-quantum cryptographic solutions. He specializes in encryption and key management.

With more than 20 years of experience at Thales, Gemalto and SafeNet, Falco has driven the development and launch of market-first encryption solutions, including the first cloud-based marketplace for encryption tools. In his career, he also successfully commercialized Encryption-as-a-Service (EaaS) and has collaborated with Google and Ubiquitous Data Encryption to enhance data confidentiality in the cloud.

Earlier in his career, he managed an orphanage in East Africa, overseeing educational and operational initiatives for underprivileged children. Falco holds an MBA from Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business.

Eibrahym Sultan is Director of Business Development, leading global sales strategy and execution for QuantumGate’s cybersecurity portfolio. In his role, he collaborates closely with engineering and product teams to align market needs with technical capabilities, focusing on customer-centric growth and strategic partnerships.

With more than 15 years of experience in SaaS and enterprise technology sales, he brings a strong track record in scaling revenue, securing multimillion-dollar deals and building high-performing commercial teams. Eibrahym’s background in computer science and robotics also informs his ability to translate complex technology into compelling business value. Eibrahym was previously Director of Growth and GTM at VentureOne. In his career, he also served as for Director GTM at Barracuda, Sales Director at ThreatTrack Security, and Business Development Manager at UiPath. He has also worked for Mandiant, Salesforce and Oracle.

Eibrahym holds a Master of Sciences in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the Cranfield School of Management and is passionate about bridging innovation with commercial execution to drive impact in frontier technology sector.
